Edited the first post to contain the character sheet. Still need to calculate encumbrance but I'll do that in a little bit.

Using that table Caby Darkbriar's player mentioned, Ducats is Friendly, Spiritual, and a Jerk. This fits my existing conception neatly.

I think it is possible he may have been deemed mentally incompetent for military service where he might have endangered his own unit. Probably he did routine goods handling and maybe some shipment guarding for house Deneith, along with things like semi-legal numbers running under supervision of cannier types.
