| To Hell With Converting Characters | 28th September 2011, 12:01 pm by DM | Hey, I'm back after a couple months. I have had plenty of time to think about it, and I've come to the decision that I really don't much care for 4th edition D&D, 3rd edition D&D, or Pathfinder. I think converting our old characters to any of that is a big waste of time and a bunch of BS If I was going to convert them to anything, it would be to 1st Edition AD&D and shit-can all that proficiency jazz.
I mean really.. our guys spent 1 week on a sailing ship, and now they 'know' …

Better, Stronger, Faster | 15th October 2010, 10:54 pm by DM | I've reorganised the message board a bit, so it should make more sense and be easier to use. Also, I'm inviting some more people in to play an Eberron game using the Labyrinth Lord rules. If you want to join, just let me know! To roll up a character for Eberron, go to This Thread and click 'New Topic.' Then start a character sheet thread for yourself. Use the character rules posted at This Location.

A finished character converted | 21st September 2010, 10:02 pm by DM | I finished converting Nasha today, so you can go take a look at the results of what I did. I used some of the 2e to 3e conversion, and some of the 3e to Pathfinder conversion. I tried to post as much of the process as possible so you could see how I did it. At the final stage, to add skills and feats and get the bonuses, I used Hero Lab. Thanks to Chris! I only have the demo, which is a free download, so I just looked at the summary lines and typed what it said into a post.

Get your Characters updated | 18th September 2010, 4:41 pm by DM | I've added all the character sheets I have to the Character Sheet forum. If you had a character with the Cannibals, but it's not there, go ahead and start your own topic there and fill in your details. If you don't have the character sheet, and can't remember any of it, or if you didn't have a character with that group, then go ahead and start your own topic there and follow the instructions to roll one up.
Go ahead and use this free conversion guide to convert your character to the …

What do we need? | 4th September 2010, 3:26 pm by DM | If you still have your old character sheet from [unbelievably] 15 years ago, you can start a thread of your own in the 'character sheets' forum, and write it all down there. If not, we can figure it out.. let me know what you remember and what you don't, and I'll look for any copies I might have as well.

Got my old stuff | 11th September 2010, 2:23 pm by DM | I have my boxes of old information right next to me now, and I'm making my way through it. I've found lots and lots of character sheets so far, and I'll be posting up those I have. I'm not sure if I've found the last events though.. I think the last thing that happened was..
The party woke up from the Dreamworld below a temple of Octavia on the world of Earthsea. You made your way upward through the natural caverns inside the island, and fought and destroyed a Dark Young of Shub-Niggurath. …

Which Rules? | 4th September 2010, 9:53 pm by DM | D&D changed a lot over the years. We last played 2nd Edition. Since then, there has been 3rd edition, 3.5, and now 4th edition. I have pdf files of all of them, and have looked through them. I am thinking, right now, that instead of using 4E we will use the Pathfinder game. It's sort of like what 4th edition might have been if they hadn't totally changed the entire game.
If you don't have the books, I have some of them on pdf.

Pathfinder Game
You guys should …
