Right now, we're all sitting in a small pub, trying to figure out what to do because we need more help and the local help is willing but less than poorly equipped.

You could come out of the shadows of a table and say you'll help!

...and that you brought an extra set of chain armour or something... so we can give it to the hireling.

Just finishing my backstory of tracking Caby to Vom. Nothing ultra-exciting. Jaral won't have extra armor or anything (why would he?), but does have a few extra gold pieces. Will post in game here in a bit.

Was joking about the extra armour. You ASKED what we needed!

Just thought of this... if they carry shields, then they can't carry torches. I think one of their important roles is going to be carrying torches when we need it.

They can strap a shield to their back when not in use, if necessary.

True.

I suppose that would be useful if we were in an area with a light source (outside or lit interior rooms).

I worked phone/email support for a software game company for a while. I think most of my frustration resulted from actually attempting to help people.

I would be fired before the day was out after I just started off all callers by asking them if they've tried reversing the polarity of the neutron flow.

It'll never work! You need 1.21 gigawatts!!
