Oh, and where is Chaos? (Not that I'm the kind of guy to go looking for chaos... it usually finds me.) Yeah, I was kind of just waiting to proceed til there's more input

| What are the guidelines of shooting from cover, Mike?
And what are the guidelines for shooting at unseen foes? If I know the general direction, is it like fighting blind (-4 to hit)?

Yep, -4 to hit if your target is in unseen, invisible, etc. but you know the general area. As far as shooting from cover, it doesn't affect your shot at all, but it will cause me to apply penalties to their shots. You had partial cover on the bridge, since a rope bridge hangs down quite a bit, so they could only see like the top half of you, but being behind a pillar would provide even more.

| Welcome back, Llama! We kept you alive... You know, if you'd had a little more punch behind your arrow, we'd still be sneaking around instead of fighting four goblins. Just saying. | |

| Just got back in town and caught up - good to see everyone is still alive! Jaral is having confidence issues after his spiffy new armor let him down. | |

| Nyah, it wasn't his armour's fault. A natural 20 hits every time in most old school rules.
Hey, since I'm hurting and Cole's hurting and we're fresh out of heals, here's what I was thinking... if/when we clear these four goblins out, we see if we can't hole up in this next room (assuming there is more) and sleep.
We entered the tree close to 6:00 at night, right? So it can't be a couple hours past that. If there is a door, we close it, stack a body or two against it to keep it from swinging right open, set a watch, and everyone sleep til morning. Then boom, we have two healing spells back (Tagor and my dragon mark), use them, get right back in the game and don't have to run back to town in the middle of the fight.
Oh, Mike, I had a thought the next time we're in a town where I might be able to track down a MU and get them to cast a spell. What is the cost, per spell level, of having someone cast a spell for you?

| Hate it when that happens! Certainly you won't be getting a reduced bill, though, because they didn't provide you with service for X number of hours, right?
You should total how many hours you've been without internet this last month and figure out how much you're paying an hour and demand a refund of whatever that cost would be.
I'm all about writing letters like that... they usually get me credits, too.

| He doesn't get the same To Hit bonuses as us, though, so I'm not sure that would hit.
But he's already done more than his share of damage to these goblins. It's the damned archer with +4 To Hit (i.e. me) who hasn't been pulling their weight.
Well... I did take that first one out from the bridge. But it would be nice to roll something higher than a 3 every now and again.
Oh, it would be nice to be able to see the rolls, too! There was a two-day period where I COULD see them. I don't know what caused it, though. Maybe they were doing something to our firewall that affected it and changed it back later on? *shrugs*
I still think we're down to just one goblin with your hit - hopefully Tagor can take it out with his sling. Or at least wound it and get it to surrender.
Of course, I hate it when they surrender. Stupid Lawful alignment gets in the way of what I'd rather do with them...

| Not sure why, but feeling paranoid today.. anyone know a way to archive a website and its contents in case 'forum-motion' folds up and blows away someday? Will a 'save page as webpage, complete' do it? | |
